Recently, the “Development and preparation of Strategic Internationalization Plans” practical workshop, an activity framing the WP1 “Politics and Strategic Planification of Internationalization in Higher Education Institutions”, was developed. The workshop was aimed at professionals in charge of the Office of International Relations of the partners Universities of Chile and Peru, being held at Concepción University and given by University of Seville.
The workshop was intended to give tools to participants in order to prepare a Strategic Plan for Internationalization (PEI). The different stages necessary for the definition of a PEI, as well as the design and evaluation, were tackled. Furthermore, experiences about information management systems, international mobility, international agreements and alliances, international visibility and intercultural and language skills were exchanged. In addition to University of Seville, Juan Guerrero from INCOMA took part in the workshop.
